Painting in Oils - Fall Two with Cheryl Leonard Van Denburg
Express yourself in oils! Cheryl is offering an evening oil painting class designed for experienced painters. Emphasis will be placed on interpreting one’s reference to create a good composition. Color theory using transparent and opaque mediums will be taught. Explore the values of light and perspective. Painting demonstrations will take place.

General Portrait Painting For All Levels In Oil with Kevin Feary
Throughout this weekly course, each class will begin with a 1 hour demo of a painting I am currently working on from start to finish. Hours 2 and 3 will be devoted to working with you personally, painting portraits from your images.
We will continuously cover: overall design / drawing strategies / color mixing, values and edges /finishing touches. Let's start and finish that portrait you've been wanting to paint! Plus watch my process from start to finish.

General Landscape Painting For All Levels In Oil with Kevin Feary
In this weekly class we will design and paint landscapes from your photos. One hour demos will show you how I design and paint a landscape. Hours 2 and 3 will be devoted to working with you personally, painting any type of landscapes from your images, whether you prefer lake scenes, pastoral or architecture. All aspects of painting will be covered. All aspects of painting will be covered.

Moving Forward in Oil Painting Wednesday Mornings in November with Cindy Harris
Spark your inner-artist with this class for both beginners and those re-awakening their oil painting passion. Learn the fundamentals of oil painting through Cindy’s method of painting impressionist landscapes and studio still life subjects in a relaxed class that covers basic techniques in a step-by-step, easy-to-learn method while allowing you to nurture your inner artist using a limited palette of colors. We will start with a value sketch, then using a limited palette explore value, light and shadow, color mixing, and other techniques that will help you create your own unique vision.
Each session begins with a brief demonstration to get you started followed by one-on-one guidance from Cindy throughout the session. Max. 8 attendees

November Evenings, Plein Air Style with Steve BonDurant
November Evenings— Wednesday evenings of oil painting! We’ll explore the fundamentals of creating convincing landscape paintings, with emphasis on composition, value structure, depth via color temperature and atmospheric perspective, and finesse for a finish. Individualized instruction of how to make the most of completing the effort from the evening, plus a review of the previous week’s effort. The last hurrah before winter!

Colored Pencil Botanicals with Pat Tribastone, PSA Master
Learn the technique of using a combination of water-soluble colored pencils and regular-colored pencils to achieve beautiful results! Using hot press watercolor paper students will learn the layering process to create wonderfully detailed botanical drawings! All materials provided. 2 sessions. All levels.
