With some luck and the late light of June, we’ll attempt three Wednesday evenings of oil painting outdoors (or in the studio with poor luck). We’ll explore the fundamentals of creating convincing landscape paintings, with emphasis on composition, value structure, depth via color temperature and atmospheric perspective, and finesse for a finish. 150 minutes of individualized instruction of how to make the most of completing the effort from the evening, plus a review of the previous week’s effort. Participants will work from their own reference images if the first session is rained out, so bring them just in case.
